Privacy notice

This notice has two parts: Coach, for athletes who joined by Invite, and the waiting list, for people waiting for a spot.

Who is responsible

Marco Schache (a private person), marco@pollystudios.com.

Coach is a cycling coach for a few people the Owner invites. It reads your training from intervals.icu, plans it, writes the workouts back and keeps your food and recovery beside it. It is not offered to the public.

What is used, and why

Your weight, heart rate, sleep, food and how you feel are health data. They are used only to coach you, and only with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox before Join. The rest is used to provide the coaching you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by leaving (below). Withdrawing does not affect anything done before.

The Coach is an AI. Its plans and Proposals change only what you approve, or what applies itself at a Deadline you can always answer before; it never decides anything about you beyond your training and food.

Where it goes, and who processes it

The Owner runs the server. They do not look at your data, but they could technically read it: whoever runs a server can. Nobody else receives it. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train an AI by Coach.

How long it is kept

Until you leave, or the Owner removes you. Experiment counts go after 180 days.

Leaving, and your rights

Leave in Settings whenever you want: you download your Conversation and Meals first, then everything the server holds about you is deleted and Coach's access to your intervals.icu ends. Copies in the nightly backups are gone 14 nights later. What Coach wrote to your intervals.icu stays there, yours to keep or delete. Delete your key at your AI Provider yourself.

You can also ask for access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR), for it to be corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), for its processing to be restricted (Art. 18), and for a copy to take elsewhere (Art. 20), and you can object (Art. 21). Write to marco@pollystudios.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.

In the app

Cookies only to sign you in and keep your Device signed in. Your browser's local storage keeps a few choices of yours on the Device, such as light or dark. No analytics and no advertising. Fonts, scripts and map tiles come from the server itself.

What is kept, and why

When you put yourself on the waiting list:

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox in the form. You can withdraw it at any time by email. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before.

So that the form cannot be flooded, the server keeps your IP address for 10 minutes and then deletes it (a legitimate interest in running the service safely, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is never kept with your signup.

Where it is kept, and who processes it

Nobody else receives your data. It is never sold, and never used for advertising.

How long it is kept

Until you ask for it to be deleted, and at the latest until the waiting list closes.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data (Art.

On the landing page and this notice

No cookies, no analytics, and no fonts or scripts from other websites. If you switch the language, your browser remembers that choice (in its local storage) and nothing else.

Coach. Pep talks sold separately.
